Biography of
Guy Hever


Guy Hever was born in Tel Aviv on May 30, 1977. He later moved with his parents Rina and Eitan to the northern community of Kochav Yair. An avid computer enthusiast who kept abreast of the latest developments in the field of computer science, Guy is also a science fiction buff with an impressive library of predominantly English language sci-fi books.
On August 16, 1997 Rina and Eitan spent the day with Guy who then returned to his unit in the Golan Heights. The next day, on the 17th, Guy left his base to return home carrying only his weapon and keys. Later that same day, he was reportedly seen standing at the Katzabiya junction, just a kilometer away from Syrian border. Guy disappeared without a trace. The book, Quantum Leap by C.J. Henderson, was found at his post in the watchtower.

Guy is an older brother to twin siblings - Shir and Or, who marked their respective bar and bat mitzva celebrations knowing that their older brother was being held somewhere, against his will.

His brother, Or, was enlisted to the Army on the 17th of August, 2003, the day that Guy disappeared six years prior. The twins anxiously await Guy's return, as their parents continue to pursue every possible lead as to the whereabouts of Guy.
