BYLINE: Dalia Shehori

United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan has promised President Moshe Katsav that the world body will share with Israel any information of a humanitarian nature about the captured Israeli soldiers in Lebanon. Annan responded that this was illegal and in contravention of the Geneva conventions. He said he had personally raised the matter with the Lebanese president.
